How to use this calculator

Cricket overs are not written using standard decimal fractions. A scorecard showing 17.3 overs means 17 complete overs plus three legal balls, or 105 legal deliveries in total.

Formula: Total legal balls = (Complete overs × 6) + Extra balls. Divide the total legal deliveries by six and use the remainder to convert back.

A value of 17.6 is not valid cricket notation. Six legal balls complete another full over, so it should be shown as 18.0.
