We prioritize cricket governing-body rules, official scorekeeping guidance, published methods and primary reference documents where available. We distinguish historical resources from current professional software and do not present approximate figures as official rulings.

Calculator quality

Tools should specify valid input formats, offer understandable formulas, handle obvious invalid inputs and explain situations they cannot calculate accurately. We test sample cases before publication and revisit calculators when credible calculation errors are identified.

Corrections

When a substantive error is identified, we review the source and calculation, correct the page or tool as needed and clarify any limitation affecting its interpretation.
