How to use this calculator

Required run rate measures the scoring pace needed to reach a winning target. It is calculated from the runs still required and the legal deliveries available.

Formula: (Target − Current runs) × 6 ÷ Remaining balls. If a side needs 48 runs from 24 balls, the required rate is 12.00 runs per over.

The target is the score needed to win. If the first innings total is 180, the normal winning target is 181. For rain-affected matches, use the officially revised target instead.
