How to use this calculator

The projected score estimates an innings total using the team’s current run rate. It is a simple arithmetic projection rather than a forecast of what will actually happen.

Formula: Runs scored × (Total scheduled balls ÷ Balls used so far). A team scoring 90 in 10 overs would project to 180 after 20 overs at the same pace.

Real scoring rates change with wickets, batting conditions and match strategy. A late surge or collapse can make the final score very different from this estimate.
